Immigration Law

Our Immigration Department consists of three Immigration Solicitors who combined have 25 years of experience conducting various applications and appeals. Whether it is advice and assistance you are looking for before making an application or pursuing an appeal, our skilled advocates can help you decide which is the best course of avenue for you.

Over the last 20 years Immigration has changed drastically within the UK. Immigration in Britain is becoming more and more stringent every day with the Immigration Rules and Policies constantly changing to meet the growing population concerns and democratic views.

The recent changes have included introduction of the Points Based System consisting of the five tier visa system and the new rules in July 2012 introducing the Appendix structure within the Rules for all applications. This has meant that the system has become more onerous for Applicants who are applying from outside the UK to enter and remain in the UK.

According to the official Government statistics for end of last year 2013 there were 111.1 million journeys to the UK, a 4% increase in comparison to the year before and other increases with 532,574 visas being issued in 2013 for visas prior to entry (excluding visitor and transit visas), 77,664 visas issued for Student Visitors, 306,060 for grant of Extensions, and 152,949 for Settlement visas.

It is why we encourage applicants to be armed with the correct facts before drafting and submitting and Immigration application and in particular to ensure that you have the correct fees for the Home Office in order to ensure that you application is considered and processed accurately.
